Shine is a holistic program for girls and young women that gives volunteers the opportunity to tutor the girls in their school work and to help them develop a healthy self-image by teaching them good grooming and proper social skills. Volunteers may also engage the girls in sports, which will allow them to learn valuable life skills.

Teach single mothers the fundamentals of baking cookies, bread, and cakes-- a skill they can use to earn a living when they go out of the shelter.
