Hands on Manila (HOM) has been chosen as one of Fox International Channels' partner NGOs for its fun run entitled "FIC Run" on March 25, 2012 at the Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. HOM will be part of the 10k category under the National Geographic banner  with the other participating NGOs under FIC's various channels.

As one of the partner NGOs, FIC will give HOM 50 complimentary race kits that have one (1) race bib and one (1) free-size run shirt for its volunteer runners registering for the 10k category. In an effort to further recognize schools' best practices, the ABS-CBN Bayan Academy annually holds the Excellence in Educational Transformation Awards (EETA), particularly for the elementary and secondary education. This year, the EETA came out with the awards' book of the same title with Pembo Elementary School (PES) cited as one of the six schools that best embody the award. PES was also the only public school given the recognition and named Hands on Manila Foundation (HOM) as one of its partners that has helped them further develop their students' academic skills through their partnership in the mentoring program, Hands on Schools - Galing mo Kid!
